The Philadelphia Experiment is an experimental action/comedy webseries written, preformed and published by Hybrid5 Productions. It is a fantasy story centered around the mythical "Philadelphia Experiment" and the people who have been affected by it in the modern day. It is in pre-production and is not expected to be worked on until after NvP is finished. Scratch that, we're indecisive morons. This will be our first production.

It is often abbreviated as "TPE". It's main genres include fantasy, super hero, action adventure and comedy.

The story is told in comic book format, but should be considered a mix of different media, considering it has both live action and 2D art to express the story.

Summary

Sixty years after the supposed "Philadelphia Experiment" occurred, the descendants of the sailors aboard the USS Eldridge have begun to notice something...odd. Ava just teleported into a tree. Jack can stop time. Wayne hears voices. Oh, and Heather just made Jesus catch fire. Yeah.

Obviously concerned about what has happened to them, these individuals set out on personal missions, to either find out the truth or find out what to do with themselves. Some chose the path of evil, using their new found powers for ill. Some choose to descend as heroes upon the city. None of them know what they're doing.

But when a serious villain appears in the City of Brotherly love, the would-be heroes are forced to act and stand as protectors of justice and peace. (Did we mention that they have no idea what they're doing?) Prepare yourself, Philly.

Production

The series is being written by Becca, with the help of Kelly and Dawn.

The story will be told via comic panels, with verbal dialogue and music. See, it's like reading a comic book except not having to turn the pages or imagine voices. For lazy nerds everywhere!

The live action parts will be filmed in Philadelphia, so if you live there, you might see some idiots running around in ridiculous costumes, just FYI.
